We’ve acquired to pave the way for high quality mobile apps!

We’re extremely proud to share that Venntro Media Group, the company behind White Label Dating, has acquired – the dating app for busy professionals. This acquisition is our first step to enabling slick, high quality mobile dating and social discovery apps for our partners.

What is The Intro?

The Intro is a mobile dating app designed for busy professionals. It focuses on giving users dates, not swipes. When users match with someone on The Intro, they can be on a video date within hours or days – unlike other dating apps which often focus on swipes, messages and ghosting.

The Intro offers an extremely high quality mobile experience. It has dozens of 5-star reviews in the app stores and thousands of loyal, high-value single professionals who will become part of our premium niche.

What this means for our partners

The acquisition of The Intro is our first step towards enabling slick, high quality mobile dating and social discovery across the White Label Dating platform. It will pave the way to enabling our partners to run their own niche dating apps that match the quality of Tinder and Bumble.

Of course, the current White Label Dating platform allows users of our partners’ dating sites to join and use the platform from their mobile phones. However, this is currently done using mobile web applications. This is slightly different to a native app-store type app as it only required a browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome, etc), to be accessed on a mobile device.

This is great because they use standard web technologies and are not limited to the underlying platform to be accessed (e.g. the App Store), but in a mobile-first world, where the majority of users have more confidence in brands which have native apps, it is important that we continue to develop technologies that allow our partners to thrive in an ever-expanding market.

What’s next?

As part of the acquisition, The Intro’s co-founder George Burgess will work closely alongside White Label Dating as an Advisor, to ensure that we can support our partners to further grow into niche dating using the app.

The Intro will significantly boost the member pool of our newest premium niche. We’re excited to see upgrade rates grow in this niche as an influx of new members begin to engage with the already thriving member pool.
