1) Have a separate landing page for your paid traffic to that of your direct ‘type in’ traffic. The main aim of paid search is to register as many members who click on your page (lowering the Cost Per Registration in the same process). Use the landing page for content and multiple pages. 2) Make use of the Partner Portal – We have recently added a number of reports to help you understand the user demographics and activity. Lauren and I will be running a webinar on the May 5th 2011 to talk about the reports and how to use them to maximise your ROI. Stay tuned for a newsletter about this!
3) Make use of Google Analytics . With the tools and reports that it offers, it can turn into one of your best tools when using it to its full potential. The most recent update that we have put in place to our Google Analytics tracking focuses on what drove that member to pay. Was it from a direct keyword? Was it a wink or message notification? Was it a newsletter? Was there something else that triggered this member to pay, if so what was it? This is very simple to implement and all you need to do is send your Partner Manager the Google Analytics tracking code for each site, then set the profile up as an eCommerce site.
