Wow!! What a night!!

We’re pleased to report that one of our casual dating sites, MatingDirect.com, made it to Number1 in the UK last week according to Hitwise – ahead of other popular sites such as Match.com and DatingDirect.com.

Many of our partners run both general and “casual” dating sites. There’s a large market for both and most partners make the most of their member acquisition cost by cross-selling new members from one site to the other.

We’ve been reviewing partners earnings today and it’s great to see that in February partners increased their sales by a massive 40% since December 07 and over 9% since January 08.

We had a great time meeting everyone at the Miami Future of Web Apps conference – and came away for some fantastic ideas for new applications for our dating sites.

It seems that nowadays everyone is calling themself an entrepreneur – there’s not really anything wrong with that, but it does make it difficult sometimes to describe those who really stand out.
