By posting relevant and seasonal content, you’ll increase your chances of capturing potential members’ attention. As the run up to Christmas can be a quieter time for attracting new registrations, use this time to prepare your landing pages, optimise your campaigns and create relevant and shareable content ready to be published during the January peak in traffic.
Seasonal landing pages – First impressions count so redesign your landing page with a festive or Winter theme. By updating your landing pages with festive imagery, text and seasonal humour you are more likely to grab the attention of potential members – this could lead to an increase in your click to registration rate.
Optimise your mobile ads – Over Christmas, people typically spend time away from their laptop or desktop computers and will be more likely to date on their mobiles. It’s important to ensure your ads and landing pages are optimised for mobile. Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test analyses your mobile site and will rank how mobile-friendly your landing page is. It will also identify and recommend any changes that will help to improve the mobile experience.
