September comms round up

Having sent out multiple campaigns and offers this month, the comms team have been extremely busy making sure they’re targeting the right audiences at the right time. With not many significant calendar dates falling in September, we created a variety of featured member campaigns, free reads and encouraging offers to engage with members.

Here are just a few of the campaigns we sent out last month…

40% off any membership

Last month we offered members 40% off their memberships. This was to encourage basic members to sign up for full membership or for previous full members to upgrade their account. These offers resulted in a great +47% increase in Re-initials and a +34% increase in overall upgrades.



Flash sale

Throughout September members were offered a 50% discount. The discount went out to all basic members and contributed towards a +52% increase in upgrades during this period and a +144% in Re-initials.

In August, we gave basic members across all territories and networks two hours of free access to their inbox. This resulted in a +164% increase in free first messages sent as well as a huge +60% increase in members online.

Every Monday throughout September members received a prompt to complete their profile. This encouraged members to make the most of their profile and increased Introduction submissions by +24%. We also encouraged members to send a free first message resulting in a +15% increase in free first messages sent.
