May shaped up to be a bumper month for the White Label Dating® Comms team, with even more resource from the new team members who joined us in April!
In contrast to April’s little and often strategy, May saw us send out more communications to members more frequently. With public holidays cropping up almost every week across the seven territories we operate in, there were plenty of opportunities to reach members in their downtime and successfully drive an increase in upgrades.
Offers for the Spring Bank Holiday in the UK, Cinco de Mayo and Memorial Day in the US, Workers’ Day in South Africa, as well as May Day and Mothers’ Day across numerous territories, all contributed to a huge uplift in upgrades throughout the month.
In May, we also increased the volume of cross-registration activity. This was a great chance to support partners in the monetisation of their portfolios by promoting their niche sites, as well as those on other networks, to members who were yet to upgrade.
Following the success of a number of tests, we’ve also stepped up our added-value campaigns on select adult network niches. We now send weekly “flyer” style newsletters for cougar, dogging and BBW niches to produce a really good boost in engagement levels.
Looking ahead to June, the FIFA World Cup will be the focus of a lot of activity for the countries involved. We’ll also be launching campaigns to coincide with the start of the summer in the UK, US, Ireland and Canada to drive members back to your sites despite the warm weather.
