TAILOR YOUR LANDING PAGE
Different traffic sources require different approaches to the design of your landing page, in order to be effective. To effectively monetise your traffic, you need to design different pages for different traffic sources.
– SEO
If you focus on attracting the majority of your traffic from boosting your organic rankings, it’s essential to ensure that you’re creating relevant content for the landing page. Whether your site includes a blog or a dating tips section, make sure to include content relating to these pages on the landing page, and make sure that the content itself is relevant and informative.
– PPC
In comparison to landing pages optimised for SEO, pages attracting paid search content need to follow a contrastingly sparse format. You need to ensure that ultimately the user only has one option when they arrive on the page – registration. Don’t pile on alternative content that could draw their attention away from filling in the registration form.
CREATE A PORTFOLIO DESIGNED FOR CROSS SELL
If you have a strong brand concept, it’s a good idea to build your portfolio of sites around it. Creating location based sites is a good start. When these sites are established and you’ve developed a strong member base, you can think about creating more niche sites tailored to location. This gives you the opportunity to further monetise your traffic whilst keeping members within your own portfolio, thus maximising your revenue and lowering your CPAs.
KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE

- Use phraseology to the country that you’re targeting, in order to engage with your audience
- Research the local economy so that you can tailor your price points accordingly
- Localise your PPC campaigns to incorporate slang from the country that you’re targeting
