We are pleased to announce that we have now gone into partnership with Iovation, a provider of device reputation for managing online fraud.
The technology that exposes and prevents fraudulent activity online was integrated into the WLD system 6 weeks ago, and has already blocked over 1200 attempted account creations.
Reducing fraudulent activity not only created a safer, happier environment for our members, but also allows our customer support team to focus more of their time on dealing with genuine member queries for technical issues. This results in a faster response rate to questions, which all contributes to great member retention rates across the entire WLD platform.
You know, I had only a vague idea of the scale of the problem, but I welcome anything that is going to prevent 200 attempted fraudulent registrations per week. Good move.
