Not only did we introduce the new Icebreaker feature, but also the ability for members to filter their contact preferences. Whilst allowing all members to select who they wanted to hear from, this hugely improved the experience for female members.
Women are renowned for being inundated on dating sites (especially on adult sites) and so the ability for them to select the criteria of who they’d like to hear from makes the whole process a lot more manageable for them and makes the likelihood of them coming across somebody they’d like to engage with much higher.
We’re delighted to see the positive impact that these changes are starting to make. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen the number of unique member communications soar with nearly a quarter of a million conversations taking place every day!
