RATE CARD TESTS: TESTING YOUR PRICE-POINT
This is a relatively new tool that we’ve introduced and from doing so, we are able to find the most profitable price-point for your site, traffic and audience.
50% of your traffic will see the current price upgrade page and the other 50% will see the test payment band, giving you the opportunity to analyse which payment band works the best for your site. In some cases, we’ve seen that where conversion may drop, the cash-per-basic will increase, meaning your returns may be greater. This does mean that for a fair and robust test we need to see a large volume of members being acquired within a site.
Your Partner Manager will be happy to advise which payment bands are performing well in certain territories and networks, so it’s worth racking their brains to ensure your profit margins are increasing.
LANDING PAGE OPTIMISATION & SPLIT TESTS
After spending a fair sum of money to get visitors to your page, your end goal is for them to register, ideally being able to increase the click-to-registration rate that the page has.
The smallest changes can affect your sign-up rates, whether it be colours or images, or bigger changes such as completely different styles of pages like lightboxes (mainly used on Adult sites) which we have seen can significantly increase your page conversions. It’s all about attracting your visitors, having a clear call-to-action (in this case, registering). It is paramount to ensure that all changes made are tested – Split Tests are easy to set up with Google Web Optimiser, and will tell you which of the 2 pages is doing the best.
Talk to your PM now about how to get the most out of your sites – get the advice you need on increasing your sign-up rates, in turn lowering your CPAs, which will subsequently increase your ROI.
SUMMER HOLIDAYS AND KEEPING IN TOUCH
It’s inevitable that many of you will be taking time off for your summer holidays, to get away from it all and relax. This doesn’t mean that your campaigns need to be paused, nor does it mean that your spend needs to be cut.
Keep the momentum going and let your Partner Manager know that you’re away – if there’s anything that you would like them to monitor / manage whilst you’re on the beach soaking up the sun, then just let them know. We’ll be extremely jealous but it’s in our best interest that your sites perform as best they can, so do get in touch!
