February Comms Round-up

Ah February! The month of love! Valentine’s Day is a key date in the online dating calendar. With singletons more determined to find a date than ever, we took the opportunity to give them a helping hand by promoting our virtual gifts. Credit revenue increased by 85% in the two days following the campaign being sent with members sending roses, chocolates and champagne to their potential dates.

As a Valentine’s gift of our own, we gave our members a 2 hour Free Read between 6pm and 8pm. As a result of this we saw a 40% increase in members online during the offer period. We followed up the free read with a 40% off offer to basic members who had joined at a specific time frame and have had a good up take from this.

Moving on from Valentine’s Day… the deadline to move all Standard Template sites to the new Premium Template is fast approaching and the Comms Team have been busy informing members of all the benefits available to them on their new and improved sites. Time is ticking, so if you’ve yet to move your site or have any questions regarding the Premium Template, get in touch with your Partner Manager today. Many partners have already seen great improvements in conversions from the move.

Knowing how well our ‘Featured Member’ emails perform on the Adult Network, we have decided to test them out across our Mature Network. The engagement rates were the highest we’ve seen in any recent Featured Member email with great opens and click-through rates. We’re now working on a Featured Member email for our General Network so watch this space!

We’re also pleased to announce that we’ve had several success stories that we have sent out as newsletters this month, including newlyweds! Aww!
