picture-7The company has continued to go from strength to strength with more partners than ever recognising the potential offered by launching a dating site on our platform. To efficiently service this demand, the team has been expanding at a rapid pace. Whilst every addition to the team is an exciting one, our newest recruits are particularly exciting for us.

We recognise the importance of investing in our senior management team – which is why we’re pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Damiano to Finance Director who joins from Match.com and Katie Mowe to Consumer Marketing & PR Manager from DatingDirect.com.

When asked why these new appointments were so important, Ross Williams said:

“Quite simply, as the undisputed market leader, it’s up to us to grow the market and help our partners grow their revenue within that expanded market.

Although and social stigma associated with online dating has shrunk dramatically, the fact is that it is still often seen as a last resort rather than a first resort for some people. Online dating should be the natural first choice for people who are single, don’t want to be single and have access to the internet via the web or their mobile phones.

So it’s our job to grow the market from the relatively small number of single people who use a dating site to a mainstream audience where the natural first step for any single person is to register on one or more of our partners’ dating sites.”
