Customer Support Team Update w/c 12th April

We cannot express how happy the Customer Care team are to finally see the sun come out! We have had some lovely few days and it’s put everyone into the summer mood, which has also put an extra spring into our work! Although we have been busy this year, we are all really pulling together and pushing to give the best customer care we can. We have a new member of the team to introduce! Edit who started on support last week, is already proving herself to be a keen, enthusiastic hard worker, so we are sure she will be a great asset to the team and we are happy to have her! We hope you all enjoy the sun, and once again thank you for reading :).

Member Query of the Week

We have been noticing members are asking about the differences between Full and Basic membership, which is a great opportunity to allow us explain to our members the benefits of signing up with us.

As a basic member, the site is free to join, create a profile, add a picture, read diary entries, conduct searches and send winks – not to mention members are now able to send an icebreaker message. These are great ways for members to get started with their profiles, and allows them to gain an insight into how much interest their profile is attracting. We allow basic members access to these facilities on the site for an unlimited time so that they can assess the suitability of the service, and see whether it’s right for them!

As a full member, members are able to send and receive messages and upload up to 10 photos. They can also add diary entries and video entries to inform members of their recent activity. On our general sites members also have access to the ‘Instant Chat’ facility which allows you to chat to members currently online, rather than sending messages. This can help create a relationship much quicker!

Other add-ons we provide to full members membership include ‘Credits’. This will allow members to send gifts to members, a handy way of showing interest! Members on our general sites will also be able to use facilities in the lifestyle section, such as horoscopes and personality profiles!

Hi There,
I just thought I would take this opportunity to thank you. I haven’t found anyone special yet but I just love the way you run your site.

I enrolled with you in December and was a full member for a month. When my membership expired in mid Jan I decided to enrol with Match.com instead and after two months on there with no responses I noticed messages coming into my in box on your site. Most of these have been from the ice breaker but some have been from “enquirers”.

Anyhow, curiosity got the better of me and I reinstated my membership using the 241 that came with the icebreaker – sent my message and was totally overwhelmed with over 100 messages and loads of winks. Its made dating fun again instead of me thinking I was not attracted to the opposite sex, after the disappointment from Match.

Suffice to say if things don’t “happen” before my membership expires mid May I will seriously consider taking a longer contract with your site. I love the quirky little windows you have like the one you have today, and, of course, the icebreaker (the responses gave my spirits a major boost).
