Hello everyone! Well, what a week it’s been! We hope you weren’t too badly affected by the weather and that you’re keeping warm inside (after building your snowmen of course)! Although we have had some problems due to the weather, the support team have really pulled together and worked through this testing week as members made good use of the time off work to use their memberships on the sites! As this week looks to be just as cold as last week, we are sure it will be another busy time here at WLD, but rest assured we will do our best for each and every customer as normal. Member Query of the Week
We have recently introduced a new security feature to the site, whereby every member that signs up with us will need to verify their e-mail address before having access to the database of members. This will ensure that all members are genuine and are registering with the correct e-mail address.
Any members that come to support regarding this issue, we would check the following:
1) We would ask the member to confirm their correct e-mail address so that we could check this on our records.
2) We would also ask members to ensure that the verification e-mail has not been sent to their junk or spam folder.
3) Lastly, we would provide members with the relevant e-mail address to add to their address book or safe senders list so that we are recognised as a safe sender and we will then re-send the verification e-mail to them.
For members that are unsure of how to verify their e-mail address with us we would simply instruct them to log in to their personal e-mail account where they will find an e-mail waiting from us. Once the e-mail has been opened, they will be prompted to click on a link, once this has been done this will simply confirm that the e-mail address is legitimate and in use.
