On Tuesday, Customer Care Supervisor Charlotte made a huge selection of incredible cakes and hosted a ‘Great Blooming Tea Party’ in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care Bracknell.
Marie curie is a charity-based company and not funded in any way. Their nurses care for terminally ill patients in their homes or in hospices and it’s estimated that they will help over 31,000 patients this year. So, every penny really does count.
A fantastic £320 was raised on the day and everyone enjoyed the sweet treats! Thanks to Charlotte who did a huge amount of baking plus Gary, Sam, Emma, Tim and Matt Harman’s mum Margaret (who runs the fab Ascot Cake Kitchen that also specialise in cakes free from wheat / gluten / dairy / egg) for also getting their ‘bake on’ for the cause.
