Tell us a bit about your portfolio
Smooth Singles and XFM Connexions are dating sites designed for Smooth Radio and XFM listeners. Smooth Singles is targeted at 40+ passionate, loyal, financially stable individuals who love life to the full. There is also a Smooth Singles 50+ site.
XFM Connexions is the Alternative Way to Date, aimed at engaged, eclectic and influential 18-45 music lovers.
How are you marketing your sites? What’s your most successful marketing channel so far?
We market the sites through in-house channels. These include radio, online, mobile, social media and events. The key to the success of our sites is the unique access we have to the listenership. We are able to promote our sites and create brand recognition through innovative and original ads.
What makes your brand different?
The brands have been designed for Smooth Radio and XFM listeners. We have methodically looked at our listeners’ age, interests, location and attitudes to ensure their needs are met within the site. Our aim is to ensure each member has the best chance of finding their perfect match in an exciting and easy environment.
What three pieces of advice would you give to someone looking to build a successful dating brand?
