The latest instalment of our takeover series saw Head of White Label Dating, Kabs, take over our Facebook page last Friday. Kabs documented his day, giving an insight into the work he gets up to; that’s everything from motivating the partner team to analysing their performance.
First things first, I need my OJ and coffee! A peculiar tradition of mine is to finish my orange juice by the time my coffee is out of the machine every morning. Drinks sorted, I’m ready to get started with my day.
I have weekly 1-2-1s with every member of my team, which consists of nine account managers, a designer and a business development manager. This particular meeting is with Nick, our B2B Designer. He produces some outstanding work for some of our media, gold and platinum partners and helps keep their sites fully optimised. This particular meeting gives us a chance to run through the weekly schedule and prioritise pending jobs. One of the hot topics this week is the 2014 Partner Conference!
I have a management meeting with the board every fortnight. We discuss strategy, performance and plan ahead for the next two weeks. For Ross and Barry working in our London office, we switch on the cameras and stream them in!
Time to talk numbers with B2B Financial Analyst, Brad. We meet as often as we can to catch up on latest trends, discussing how we can use these findings to grow our partners’ businesses further. Today, we’re meeting on our lunch break over a game of pool. (I won, obviously.)
I’m discussing the new and existing mainstream affiliate opportunities available for partners with Wacek, our Head of Acquisition. It’s really important that partners differentiate their traffic sources across all networks. Wacek has a wealth of experience with acquiring affiliate traffic so it’s great to have access his knowledge.
To finish up my day today, I’m meeting with White Label Dating’s newest recruit, Chief Revenue Officer, John Ray! John and I are discussing strategy for accelerating revenue growth for our partners incrementally. This is one of the key points on our agenda every week.
