Background

Andy Hammonds first became a White Label Dating® partner in 2008. After meeting his partner on an online dating site, Andy’s love affair with the dating industry began. As a Business Analyst and Consultant for web startups, Andy’s online expertise made the white label model ideal for utilising his existing skills. After nine months, Andy launched Bright Day Ltd and dating became his day job.

Launch and expansion

The first site Andy launched was MumsDateDads.co.uk. A niche dating site catering for single parents, the site was instantly a success. Since then, Andy has gone on to launch over 500 sites on the White Label Dating network.

Last year, Andy launched SinglesNear.Me, capitalising on the new dot.anything domains and White Label Dating’s advanced postcode search functionality which allows members to connect with people in their local area. With acquisition costs low for niche sites and more targeting opportunities available, the SinglesNear.Me brand was well placed to provide its members with a targeted online dating experience. Typically, the more targeted the site, the lower the acquisition cost and the higher the conversion rate – meaning higher revenue margins.

White Label Dating collaborated with Andy to pioneer the expansion of SinglesNear.Me across the UK, Australia and most recently the USA, as Andy worked closely with his partner manager to test price points and campaigns, as well as providing him with appropriate hosting options and payment facilities.

The White Label Dating network allowed Andy to launch sites optimised for desktop, mobile and tablet use,allowing him to fulfil the demand for mobile dating globally.

Andy’s portfolio now boasts over 400 sites across seven international territories. His portfolio has seen revenue growth of more than 17% in the last year. A prime example of how to develop a healthy portfolio with a variety of different revenue sources, Andy’s online marketing expertise are undoubtedly what makes him such a successful dating affiliate.

I’ve now been running my dating sites on the White Label Dating network since 2008. After six months of working with them, my sites were doing so well that I managed to leave my job work go full time on my dating business. I now have multiple sites in the UK, Australia, USA, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa.
