The fifth annual WhiteLabelDating.com Partner Conference 2013 was held at the luxurious Luton Hoo Hotel for the second year in a row. This year’s event was exceptionally well received with excellent feedback from both partners and the WhiteLabelDating.com team.
The theme of this year’s conference was ‘ten years of growth and shared success’, as we celebrated a decade in business and said a big thank you to our partners for their support over the last ten years. As well as reviewing growth and expansion across the decade and network performance across the last year, we unveiled exciting new plans for platform innovation in the coming year. CPO, Barry Frost, also gave an in-depth explanation of our new agile development process, highlighting the opportunities for increased communication with and input from our partners at various stages of feature creation.
VP North America, Gary Taylor, unveiled plans for USA acceleration, also detailing our success across the pond to date, whilst Richard Gale, Commercial Development Director, shared commercial learnings that are set to help partners boost revenues. Richard also discussed additional revenue streams and new monetisation opportunities, exclusive to WhiteLabelDating.com partners.
A look back at international performance from Operations Director, Matthew Pitt, highlighted consistent sustained growth across all networks with a particularly strong performance in South Africa, which was closely followed by the USA and Australia as exceptionally high-growth markets. Our latest CRM and communications findings were unveiled by Head of CRM and Merchandising, Harry Lloyd. He demonstrated that email marketing is absolutely critical to the dating site success, boosting customer experience, traffic and revenue to deliver sturdy lifetime values. As well as introducing a more technically advanced platform for customer care, the human element of our customer care programme has also dramatically enhanced in the last year. Our dedicated retention team now retain one in three cancelling members, and in the last year, our already highly-skilled moderation team have doubled their adeptness for catching scammers – a particularly important issue in today’s dating industry climate.
Head of White Label Dating, Lauren Barnes, also took to the floor to unveil new reporting enhancements to the WhiteLabelDating.com Partner Portal, set to allow partners to use data to further boost revenues. In addition, we saw insightful panels from both Google and a selection of major network traffic panellists who shared a wealth of advice for our partners.
Our Partner Awards ceremony saw us celebrate a number of exceptionally well deserved award-winners. This year’s ceremony was a special one, as we unveiled our Partner of the Decade as Neil Stanley. The introduction of a new tier category for our top performing partners, Platinum, was also a highlight.
