20th October 2021, London: CEO of ‘the dating app for busy professionals’, The, becomes Advisor to Venntro Media Group following the leading social discovery and online dating business acquiring the app earlier this year. 

The Intro, which was backed by the VC fund Global Founders Capital, was acquired by leading social discovery and online dating business Venntro Media Group (the company behind White Label Dating) earlier this year.

As part of the acquisition, The Intro’s Co-founder and CEO George Burgess has now become an Advisor to Venntro to support their growth into niche dating, social discovery and live streaming apps – alongside growing his new venture

The Intro focuses on giving users dates, not swipes. When users match with someone on The Intro, they can be on a video date within hours or days – unlike other dating apps which often focus on swipes, messages and ghosting.
