Among an interesting array of insights, some information regarding behavioural matchmaking came to light. It was argued that this is set to become increasingly important across the online dating industry in years to come, in a bid to create a more engaging user experience.
With the German conference being held at the heart of Europe, naturally online dating in the Netherlands was a topic of conversation. The panel disclosed that the region has exceptionally high levels of connectivity, with 93% of the population online. With an estimated 600 dating sites currently in existence in the Netherlands, the next few years will be crucial to see how this market develops and its future profitability.
It was a really great opportunity to meet some new faces, including the team behind the online dating industry’s newest news publication GlobalDatingInsights.com – a really welcome addition to the industry who we can’t wait to collaborate with! As always, iDate Cologne was a great event with some fantastic networking opportunities.
