Prepare for the “New Year, New Me” uplift in traffic and Google Ad Policy Changes in 2022

We’re heading into the busiest time of the year for online dating once again! With everyone in the “New Year, New Me” mindset we are set to see a natural uplift in traffic from December 26th until the end of January. With this, it’s essential that you start preparing your Christmas and New Year campaigns now to ensure you are generating the highest possible returns from your acquisition efforts in the coming weeks.

This year because we think you should be on the ‘good list’ we have the yuletide treat of Video Dating. Launched across White Label Dating back in January 2021, the number of members utilising this feature across both our mainstream and casual niches has continued to rise throughout the year.

A recent survey from dating app Hinge has revealed that the majority of daters plan to continue video dating as a stress-free way to gauge compatibility before going for an awkward first date!

Although last year was a ‘Covid Christmas‘ we saw a huge +36% increase in the number of registrations to our partners’ sites during the 7 days immediately following Boxing Day, versus the rest of December.

During the 2 week period following Christmas Day, we saw that members’ propensity to pay went up by +15% versus the pre-Christmas period.

However, when preparing your Google Ad campaigns you need to be prepared for how Google is changing some of their policies regarding “explicit content.”

At WhiteLabelDating we pride ourselves on researching any changes in the digital marketing landscape and how they can affect our partners. That’s why in Mid December we are holding a webinar to discuss these changes and how you can stay ahead of any changes to increase your chances of generating even more revenues during the seasonal uplift.
