Payment Page Abandonment- Chaser Campaign
Our Comms and Web Development teams have been very busy building a brand new chaser campaign for basic members who hit the payments page yet fail to upgrade.
The 3-part chaser programme identifies basic members and uses information pulled from the member’s journey on the site to provide a suitable chaser message. These chaser messages are designed to capture their attention and provide an opportunity to upgrade to full membership.
Trialled on a selection of gold partner and in-house sites, the results have been very positive with email open rates averaging at 50.4%, click-through rates at 15% and overall site revenue uplift being a fantastic 14%. This chaser campaign is now live and has been rolled out across all networks. Facebook Connect: Available For Adult Network
Facebook Connect is now available for sites across our Adult Network. New members can register using their Facebook account login and existing members can sign in with their Facebook details. Members can also import and use photos from their Facebook account with a few clicks of a mouse. This will increase the user experience tenfold and we have already seen some fantastic results from sites which have been running the application on the General and Mature Networks. To take advantage of this great opportunity, please speak to your Partner Manager today.

Google Analytics – Are You Taking Advantage?
Google Goals and eCommerce tracking are very useful resources for tracking member’s actions and payments which are part of Google Analytics. If you missed our blog post about this, check it out here.
Call To Upgrade Success
Our dedicated Customer Care team have been working incredibly hard since ‘Call To Upgrade’ launched. In the last month we’ve had a 50% increase in phone upgrades since the service went live across all networks with the freephone number displayed on the payment page. At the moment we’re seeing an even split of phone upgrades across all networks:
General – 36%
Mature – 33%
Adult – 31%
The upgrade line provides another payment option for your members’ ease. The line is open from 9am – 10pm, 7 days a week: 0800 987 5333.
