Election Day Encounters reminder
On the 8th of June, there was a general election in the UK. To take advantage of this, we reminded all UK members of our Encounters game and how it works. This increased Encounters usage by 21% throughout the day.
Free read session
On June the 13th, we gave all basic members free access to their inbox between 18:00 and 00:00 (local time). This allowed these members to see any messages they’ve received without having to pay to upgrade their membership. This increased the number of members online by 114% and the number of first messages being sent by a huge 175%!
Mid-June discount offer
During the middle of the month, between the 16th and 19th of June, we offered all basic members in all networks a discounted rate if they took out a subscription. We saw a 20% increase in upgrades during these dates and a 57% increase in re-initials.
Reminder about Bolt-Ons
On June the 23rd, we sent out a reminder to all full members in all networks about our Bolt-Ons and how they work. Bolt-Ons are accessible by all full members and allow them to purchase additional extras such as read notifications and VIP search for a small cost. This increased Bolt-On purchases by 30%.
Photo upload incentive
Last month, we took advantage of ‘National Camera Day’ which fell on June 29th. We encouraged members to upload a new photo by the end of the day to be in with the chance of winning a months free membership. This increased photo submissions by 19%.
Flash sale offer
On June 30th, we offered a one day discounted membership offer to all basic members. As this was only a one day offer, it enhanced the urgency for members to upgrade which is why we saw a great result of a 74% increase in upgrades and a 191% increase in re-initials!
With American Independence Day falling in July, we’ve got big things planned to engage with the US network. Keep an eye out early next month for how our July comms campaigns went!
