June has been a busy month for the comms team with lots of significant calendar dates, like the Euros, Wimbledon and Father’s Day, to take advantage of. The results from our last month’s campaigns have been really positive.
Here are just a few examples of what we send out last month…
Profile update prompt
On the 1st June, we sent out a reminder to all users to encourage them to complete their profiles. The campaign focused on how members with complete profiles are 20x more likely to find someone they’re compatible with. The prompt resulted in a 40% increase in photo submissions and a 30% increase in profile submissions.
Looking For feature prompt
On the 8th June, across all Mainstream networks, we sent out a prompt to get members to head to the ‘Looking For’ tab on their profile and answer questions on who their ideal date would be. We provided a step by step guide on how to do this, increasing answer submissions by a huge 122%!
Mid-month offer
This month, our mid-month offer provided members across all networks with a great discount code, which successfully increased upgrades by 30%.
Gay Pride free read
To celebrate Gay Pride across US and UK networks, we sent out a campaign which offered members the chance to read messages for free between 6pm and midnight on the 25th and 26th of June. This increased the number of members online by 30%
Wimbledon themed featured members
Across all UK Mainstream networks on the 30th of June, we sent out a featured members campaign to highlight new members on the platform and celebrate the start of Wimbledon. The campaign saw a 35% increase in click through rates.
All of the events in June meant that our last month’s comms campaigns all offered something a little different. Keep your eyes peeled for some more summer themed campaigns throughout July!
