Our July comms programme began with an Independence Day special offer for all our US members, as well as a free read in the UK to celebrate the Wimbledon finals. Both campaigns performed well, increasing member activity and upgrades. The following weekend continued in a similar way with some final World Cup themed featured member campaigns for those still caught up in the tournament hype!
With summer temperatures soaring in the UK, the main aim throughout July was to keep users visiting the site while the sun was calling. A full programme of photo upload, profile update and introduction promotions began early in the month, the first of which generated a 110% increase in photo submissions! The increase in new faces on the site gave members even more reasons to get online and get chatting.
While these campaigns helped members on the path to dating success, some still needed a bit of extra guidance. To support them in their search for love online, we sent those members a few campaigns offering help and advice on how to get the most out of the sites and what to do when they reach the next step.
By the looks of things, we’ve got another month of fighting against the sunshine to come! With more product developments and innovative campaigns, we’re confident we can keep users engaged and boost conversion rates throughout August.
