Windsor, UK, January 5th 2012: Thursday January 5th is predicted to be the busiest day in online dating history, with experts at Global Personals forecasting a 117% surge in new members as Brits recover from Christmas and look to fulfill New Year’s resolutions.
In 2010 the number of people signing up to online dating sites between Boxing Day and the first weekend in January increased by 30%. This year, with more people now using online dating sites as a way to meet new people, that number is expected to explode. Typically, activity peaks on the first Thursday of the New Year, ahead of the weekend. So now is the time to get online to find love, lust and much more.
