Background

Until a few short years ago, David Cliff was a self-confessed cyberphobe, avoiding even sending an email until after his 50th birthday. Despite a sales and marketing background and successful radio career, the online revolution had passed him by. Then in 2005, David Cliff joined Singles365.com, WhiteLabelDating.com's own online dating site as a member when he came across the company and the service it offered to client partners. Within 10 minutes David Cliff had set up his first site, Instant Friends. One small investment later, in the form of a Google listing, and his online dating business was born.

The Challenge

Having come across the online dating industry almost by accident, David Cliff immediately saw the extensive business opportunities offered by the rapidly expanding sector.

Following the initial success of Instant Friends, David Cliff began to expand his portfolio in September 2005, launching further specialist sites including Instant Hot Dates and Gay Dating 4 Fun.
