A great article was published in The Sunday Times yesterday on the increase of individuals starting their own businesses whilst holding down full-time jobs. The piece, entitled “Rise of the 5-9 entrepreneurs” stated:-
“A new wave of enterprising types are starting firms in their spare time, while keeping their day jobs”
The reason for this? With the economy being in such a fragile state, people are afraid to give up a regular income for the risk that things might not work out and gaining employment could prove near impossible. Another factor of course, is the reduced lending from banks to individuals looking to start their own businesses.
Here at WhiteLabelDating.com, we can vouch for this. Most of our successful partners started their sites as side-lines until such a stage that their site was providing sufficient income for them to give up their jobs and focus all of their efforts on their sites. Generally, most of our active partners are easily generating over £5,000 per month within 6 months by working in their spare time and within 12 months they are enjoying an income of over £25,000 per month.
The article goes on to say:-
“The need to be open at the same time as other businesses has also become less important. Increasingly the growth of email communications means that timing is not an issue for most people”
This is very true for our partners, with most of our Partner Account Managers answering emails 7 days a week. Our partners don’t have the worry of having to be on-hand for consumers as we deal with all of the customer support for them - 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You can’t ask for much more than that!
We’re not saying that no effort is required, of course our most successful partners are those who are driven, always willing to try new methods of attracting visitors to their sites, but this doesn’t have to be back-breaking work and can easily be sustained to make it as big or restrained as you like. With no set up costs or management fees, there really is nothing to lose.

more like 6.00am to 11.00pm…
Your “day” job is 11pm to 6am?
This is one of the best way to start a small project if you do not have a backer who will stump up the required cash to get the project of the ground.
I started my business like this, once it was able to stand on its own feet I quite my day job.
This economical moment is the best moment to start a business on your own. There are hundreds of businesses around the world based at home, with home made products, hand made products, clothes, ecc. I will definitely buy from them that from a huge online shop.
To build a business requires effort and more time, but the idea to quit a normal job to do it right is misguided. Letting the side business evolve into a full-time business naturally is the key!
Any business requires efforts. I do not know any type of business with any kind of investment that does not require time to become something stable, something that produces income. Some are willing to invest in wages, office, cars for sale team even from the start, but I can totally see the online business working side by side with a full time job.
