Upgrades improve over 200% and cancellations down 25%
Posted by Ross Williams on March 31, 2008 3:35 PM
What a fantastic weekend!!
Partners have seen on average twice the number of basic members pay to upgrade to full membership and membership cancellations decreased by 25%.
This massive improvement follows the deployment of new database servers on Friday morning so our servers are now running at only 20% of capacity.
This means all sites are running much faster and partners are immediately seeing their income rise as a result.
WhiteLabelDating.com has always been the best converting online dating platform for partners - we're now seeing it get even better.
We'll post more news and exact results in a few weeks but in the meantime keep an eye on your stats as you can expect to see a significant improvement in new paying members.

As well as being one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, we were shortlisted in the "One to Watch" category,
It really is a genuine honour to be chosen for this award, especially as the judges included Dragon Peter Jones, Nick Wheeler and Simon Kossoff.

True.com losing its niche?
Posted by Ross Williams on March 10, 2008 11:26 AM
However, I was interested to see David Evans' post at http://onlinedatingpost.com/archives/2008/03/truecom-no-more-faces/ commenting on True.com's decision to run more adult/casual orientated advertising.
True.com has always been a premium dating site, focusing on scientific, psychological matching. They even say they'll prosecute married people and criminals.
Why is it moving its brand towards casual dating? Well, the money, no doubt. As its market share has diminished it needs to raise revenues.
But rather than create a separate casual dating brand, it is diluting its own brand which had previously established itself in the high-end scientific matching area.
True.com should follow the lead of many of our partners and create multiple niche brands with superior conversions than a generic brand - then cross-sell members from one site to another to maximise revenue per member, whilst maintaining a single cost per member acquisition.
